The rules for using this website. These cover the website itself. Care services are covered by the written service agreement you sign before care begins.

This website is operated by Green Oak Homecare Services Inc., trading as Green Oak Homecare Services, of 500-224 West Esplanade, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1A4. By using the site you accept these terms.

What we provide

Green Oak Homecare Services provides non-medical home care. Our caregivers help with daily living: washing, dressing, meals, mobility, company, errands and transport, and being present overnight.

We do not provide nursing or medical treatment. We do not do wound care, injections, catheter care, or anything else that requires a licensed health professional. We remind people to take medication; we do not administer it. If what is needed goes beyond what we do, we will tell you and help you find the right service.

This site is information, not care

Everything here describes what we do and helps you get in touch. It is not medical advice, nursing advice, or a care plan, and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor, a nurse, or a pharmacist.

If someone is in danger or having a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use this form.

Inquiries are not bookings

Sending the booking form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract and it does not reserve care. Care begins only after we have visited, agreed what is needed, and both signed a written service agreement.

Keeping the site accurate

We try hard to keep prices, service descriptions, and coverage areas correct and current. We cannot promise the site is free of errors, and nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance. If something on this site conflicts with your signed service agreement, the service agreement is what counts.

What belongs to whom

The text, layout, design, logo, and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to read, print, and share pages. You may not copy the design or content to run a competing business.

Some photography on this site is illustrative rather than photographs of our own clients or staff. Client privacy is the reason. Reviews and quotations are real and are reproduced from public reviews written by real customers.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, that site is not ours and we are not responsible for it.

Limits on our liability

We provide this website as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it, from being unable to use it, or from relying on information on it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your rights under BC consumer protection law are not affected.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.
